help
okay I thought I was getting better at this surfing the net thing but I am having trouble. I have just spent what felt like forever looking for age appropriate websites about habitats for class pets. I find things for habitats in general but not for pets or age appropriate. Is there some special way to do this?

For age appropriate webpages I just went to a kids search engine...like yahoo kids or something, and browsed through that. I figured the sites it gave me would be appropriate. I also let the kids use a kids search engine to search other aspects of their pet. I don't know if all our websites, for that hot list, needs to be centered at what we want them to find or if they can have some freedom to do their own research. The one thing I dislike about elementary ed. is that some teachers don't let their students think for themselves, they want them to think or gear thing in a certain path. This, I think, limits their ability to think creatively.
